Questions people actually ask
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in, no email and no password anywhere in the app. Open it and it works, with the playbook already loaded.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Drives, the playbook, the cadence and the get-off trainer all run with the phone in airplane mode. The app checks once at launch whether the build needs replacing, and if that check cannot complete it simply starts.
How do I run a drive?
Open Clutch and take the daily drive, or pick Quick, Custom or Hard mode. Tap Start clock and the game clock begins moving in real time. Swipe a play card up to call it, or use the Call it button. Timeout, spike and kneel sit above the deck and grey out when the rules do not allow them.
What is Rewind the call?
In the debrief, tap any snap on the timeline. The app restores the clock, the situation and the defence's read for that moment and lets you call something else against it. The defence shows the same look it showed the first time, so the difference in the result came from your call and nothing else.
How do I measure my get-off?
Open Hard Count → Solo get-off, put the phone in a front pocket, and get in your stance. After a countdown the app takes two seconds of stillness to learn your noise floor, then calls the cadence. Move before the snap and it is a false start; move within a tenth of a second of it and the app marks it as anticipation rather than a reaction, and keeps it out of your records.
Can I run a cadence for the whole line?
Yes. Hard Count → Team cadence calls the count in sideline-sized type and flashes on the snap. Add players under Progress → Team and tap whoever jumped after each rep, or run a quick session with no names and just a counter.
Can I draw my own plays?
In Playbook, tap the plus. Drag the tokens where you want them, tap a player and either pick a number from the route tree or choose Draw and trace the route with your finger. The app tidies the line into a few clean breaks. Your plays appear under the Custom segment alongside the starters.
How do I get the plays onto paper?
Open a play and choose Wristband card. That produces a printable sheet with twelve diagrams to a page, sized to be read at arm's length.
When something is wrong
The cadence is too quiet outdoors
Turn the phone's volume up before you start; the app warns you when it is below half. The cadence plays through the speaker even with the silent switch on. If you hear nothing at all, check that no other app is holding the audio route, then reopen Bravado.
My get-off says "no start detected"
That means the sensors saw nothing above your own stance's noise floor within a second and a half of the snap. Usually the phone was not on your body: it needs to be in a front pocket or otherwise attached to you, not on the ground. If the app asks you to hold your stance first, it found too much movement during the two calibration seconds.
Notifications are not arriving
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Bravado and make sure Allow Notifications is on. If you declined the first time, iOS will not ask again; the switch has to be turned on there. Nothing in the app requires notifications.
My drives are gone after reinstalling
Everything is stored on the device, so deleting the app deletes your history with it. There is no cloud copy to restore from and no account to sign back into. If iCloud backup was on when you deleted the app, restoring that backup to the device brings the data back.
The playbook looks empty
The starting playbook is loaded for the format you chose during the intro. If you set the format to 7-on-7 or Flag you are looking at that library, not the eleven-a-side one. Change it under Settings → Play → Game format.
Deleting your data
Settings → Your data → Reset all data erases every drive, get-off attempt, session, roster entry and play you made. Deleting the app does the same.
To have the device identifier removed from the update service, email support@bravadofootball.info and say so. There is no account to close, so please include roughly when you first opened the app.
